Baling Presses

Baling presses do not form one interchangeable category. Batch or continuous feed, material behaviour, chamber arrangement, bale discharge and downstream logistics all influence which architecture should enter a project-specific review.

Two-Ram Balers: Two-Ram balers use a main ram for compression and a separate ejector ram for discharge. Exact chamber, feed, tying or retention and output arrangements must be confirmed against the material and the project-specific machine architecture.

Four baling architectures

Start with how material enters, compresses and leaves the machine.

Each press type below describes a process architecture, not a promise of suitability for every material stream.

Vertical balers

Batch-fed, source-separated material is compressed through a downstroke cycle and removed according to the selected machine arrangement.

  • Batch feed
  • Downstroke compression
  • Planned bale removal

Horizontal balers

A horizontal ram compresses material within a layout configured around the selected feeding and discharge cycle.

  • Horizontal compression
  • Project-defined feed
  • Output interface

Channel balers

Continuously fed material is compressed against channel resistance before discharge; tying arrangements vary by model.

  • Continuous feed
  • Channel compression
  • Coordinated discharge

Two-Ram balers

Separate main and ejector rams perform compression and discharge duties within a closed-chamber architecture.

  • Closed chamber
  • Main-ram compression
  • Ejector-ram discharge
